In the Heat of the Moment:

Torch-fired Enameling with

November 9 - 12, 2020

Monday - Thursday - 10:00 am -5:00 pm

Anne is an enamellist, metalsmith and lampworker (she makes glass beads).  She is inspired by many of the abstract painters, space objects and creatures from her own imagination, molecular level shapes, geometry, clay artists, building structures, flowers, etc.

Using a torch, various methods of line creation and imagery within your enamel piece will be demonstrated.  By applying successive layers of liquid, acrylic, as well as transparent and opaque powdered enamels, techniques such as sgraffito, graphite, sifting, firescale, acid-etching, painting and more will be covered.  no matter your skill level, there will be opportunity to delve into new ideas and principles.
